This morning I went up to Scrabo Tower in Newtownards to photograph the sunrise, but it was absolutely tipping it down with rain. I nearly didn’t get out of the car after waiting about 20 minutes for the rain to die down, but decided I’d have a little wander in the forest and not go too far. I’m glad I did, because it was super eery with the mist in the trees and I set up to capture this image.
I was pretty rushed because it was raining so hard and my gear was getting soaked, but it turned out pretty good.
Just goes to show that you only get results when you get out there and put the time in, no matter the weather or conditions.
