This morning I went on a little mission to Helen's Bay. It was another almost no sunrise morning because it was so overcast. The funny thing is that an hour after sunrise, the skies cleared and there was blue sky. The joys of weather. ;)

It's been a bit of a crazy week for me catching up on things after my US trip. This morning was the first morning I could get out before work to take photos at sunrise. Here's a shot I took on the beach just near Greenisland. It wasn't the most spectacular sunrise, but it was good to be out anyway. We have snow forecast for this weekend, so hopefully that comes through. :)

It's been grey and dark here in Belfast since getting back from the USA, so there's been virtually no sunrise or sunset. It also gets dark at 4pm. Here's a shot I took of the Cathedral Quarter across the river tonight.
